John 20:25-29 (NIV – Focus verse 29)
Then Jesus said to him (Thomas), “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
Secular historical writers have confirmed the resurrection of Jesus Christ as an historic event. Josephus, a Jewish non-Christian writer (The Complete Works of Flavius Josephus), and Thomas Arnold (The History of Rome), and Frank Morrison (Who Moved the Stone?) all agree that after careful investigation of the facts, Jesus DID rise from the dead. Thomas Arnold wrote, “…thousands of persons have gone through it (the evidence) piece by piece, as carefully as every judge summing up on a most important cause…I know of no one fact in the history of mankind which is proved by better and fuller evidence…than the great sign which God hath given us that Christ died and rose again from the dead.” Historical fact!
