God’s divine providence is sometimes exercised unconditionally—without requiring anything on our part as a condition. At other times God’s divine providence is exercised conditionally—contingent on our meeting certain conditions (II Kings 18:4-7). “As long as he sought the Lord, God gave him success” – II Chron. 26:5).
