Deuteronomy 30:19 (NLT) – Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live.
God has given us the power of choice. When we say, “I can’t help the way I am,” we are believing a lie that keeps us in lifelong bondage. We must take personal responsibility for our choices, attitudes, and behaviors. We do not need to live as victims. We can invite the Holy Spirit to take up residence in our hearts and teach us how to make good choices. THE TRUTH is that we DO have a choice. We are responsible for our own choices. We can be changed by the power of God’s Spirit and break free from anything. Believe it.
