Acts 7:23 – (KJV) And when he (Moses) was full forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brethren the children of Israel.
(MSG) When he was forty years old, he wondered how everything was going with his Hebrew kin and went out to look things over.
What Moses saw aroused him to action. There comes a time in life when we must take an intentional walk outside our comfort zones and take a long, hard look at the suffering of others. Through WEAG mission trips hundreds of people have traveled around the world (and the Richmond community) to “look things over,” witness firsthand the desperate needs of people, and do something about it. Our teams come home changed by the experience. Have you had a moment when you witnessed some sort of injustice that moved you to action? God wants His people to see what He sees and be moved to response. Take a walk and look things over.
