DAILY DEVOTIONS – NOVEMBER 18, 2021

Joshua 3:15-16a (NIV)

Now the Jordan is at flood stage all during harvest.  Yet as soon as the priests who carried the ark reached the Jordan and their feet touched the water’s edge, the water from upstream stopped flowing…(vs 17)  The priests…stood firm on dry ground in the middle of the Jordan.

Think of the adventure of all this.  Consider the need for faith and unquestioning obedience.  All those people and all that water and another movement across a waterway that God made dry for His people by His mighty power!  It is remarkable.  Only people of faith can grasp it.  What deep waters prevent you from moving forward into your divine destiny?  How far have you come already?  How has God provided for you throughout your life so far?  Can you follow Him in faith and unquestioning obedience trusting that He will lead you across dry ground?  (Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible.  But with God everything is possible” -Matthew 19:26 NLT).
