Romans 5:1 (NIV) Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus taught His disciples: “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come that they may have life and have it to the full” (John 10:10). The kind of peace that we crave is available only through the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ. We can enjoy fully-satisfied lives as we “grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” (II Peter 3:18). It requires intentionality. It requires establishing sacred rhythms of prayer, meditation on God’s Word, Bible study, weekly gatherings with other followers of Jesus, and serving out of our unique giftedness.
