Forgiveness is a healing art. The Bible is replete will illustrations of the power of forgiveness to reconcile and reunite severed relationships. Do we really think forgiveness is easy when wounds are deep and festering. But the Holy Spirit can help us interpret our circumstances with a redemptive view. He can help us edit the memories and release us from debilitating memories that re-inflict pain every time we remember. It is a truly supernatural process that results in true freedom.
