What is more real to you: the power within you or Christ’s power in you? We must yield to an exchange of power—a difficult process when all your life you have depended primarily on your own abilities to make life work well. Like the Children of Israel, we move slowly toward our “promised land” and must learn dependence upon God’s supply. Jesus is sufficient (see II Corinthians 9:8).
