Psalm 9:9-10 (NLT)
The Lord is a shelter for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for you.
The Lord never forsakes us. He will “not ignore the cry of the afflicted” (vs. 12). This truth can be a stepping stone out of our pit of despair. When life morphs, when familiar and comfortable routines change and leave us anxious and confused, remember that we have an unchangeable God guiding us along who is omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient. We stand on His firm foundation. God cares about you and knows exactly where you are and what you are going through. He hears your cries for help. He is with you. Do you know His name? Waymaker, Miracle Worker, Promise Keeper, Light in the Darkness, YOUR God. That is who He is!
