The book of Acts covers a period of about 30 years, and it provides us with historical accounts of those who were led by the Spirit in spreading the Gospel throughout the then-known world. It demonstrates to all future believers “the manner in which Lord of the harvest wants to carry on from heaven the work which He had begun on earth” and “the power and means by which this work is to be accomplished; namely, that of the Holy Spirit.” Is the world waiting to see “many convincing signs” from our lives proving that we have been raised from the dead? Jesus said, ”you will be my witnesses.” Walk in newness of life (Rom. 6:4).
