DAILY DEVOTIONS – TUESDAY NOVEMBER 10, 2020

Colossians 1:13  (TPT)  He (God) has rescued us completely from the tyrannical rule of darkness and has translated us into the kingdom realm of his beloved Son.  For in the Son all our sins are canceled and we have the release of redemption through His very blood.

Sin holds a grip on people’s souls,  yet they live unaware.  We have become so accustomed to living in a world filled with wars,  disease,  violence,  fractured relationships,  human trafficking,  child pornography,  and other forms of death,  that when we cross the line of faith and become  “washed in the blood of the Lamb” (Rev. 7:14) we finally realize the actual heaviness of the weight of sin.  The fresh breath of God gives us new life and darkness recedes as a new Lord comes to reign in our hearts with peace and righteousness.  This is a supernatural,  life-changing transition that evidences not only in the innermost sanctuary of the soul but also in outward behaviors.  Live aware of the  “tyrannical rule of darkness”  that grips our world and make it your mission to  “release redemption”  through your testimony of Jesus Christ and His sin-cancelling power.
