DAILY DEVOTIONS – WEDNESDAY JUNE 17, 2020

Psalm 27:1 (NIV)  The LORD is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear?  The LORD is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?  You don’t have to fully understand each thing that happens in order to trust God.

You don’t have to try and figure it out,  control it,  or even like it,  for that matter.  In the midst of uncertainties,  you just have to stand and say,  “I trust you Lord.”  Though your path is long and uncertain,  God is faithful to shed just enough light on it for you to see the next step.  It isn’t about God being mysterious;  it is about God’s mercy.  With too much revelation we become prideful and run ahead of Him.  With too little revelation,  we’d be paralyzed with fear.  God gives us just enough for today.  Trust Him for today.  He has grace ready for your tomorrow—He’ll give it to you tomorrow.  (TerKeurst).
