Exodus 24:12-16 (NIV) Focus verse 116b – For six days, the cloud covered the mountain, and on the seventh day, the Lord called to Moses from within the cloud.
“God took Moses through a long waiting period before He spoke His first word. Physical considerations were subordinated to the higher laws of the Spirit. This is tribulation to the body that works patience. To hurry God is to find fault with Him.” Supernatural changes take place in our souls when we go through the often stressful waiting rooms of life. Patience. Trust. Endurance. God does something deep within us that cannot be done any other way if we hang in there and trust. He matures us. In our quick-fix and easy-answer culture, waiting feels excruciating. But it is an important part of the maturing process. Are you waiting for something? Wait patiently and keep your hope fixed in the Lord.
