Psalm 22:3 (NASB) Yet You are holy, O You who are enthroned upon the praises of Israel.
This verse helps explain “why worship is so important and so potentially transforming of our lives and circumstances. It teaches that through worship, God’s people may literally make an earthly place for Him to be enthroned in the midst of them. We see that the dynamic objective of worship is not simply an exercise in religious forms; instead, worship is God’s assigned way to bring His presence and power to His people. In other words, just as we enter into God’s presence with worship, so He responds by coming into our presence. Our worship invites Him to rule in our midst. God’s presence and power will come to transform—to change us and our circumstances.” Enthrone Him with your praises—praises that exalt Him and come from a humbled heart.
