Middle School “Echo”

Middle School “Echo”

Grades 6 – 8

ECHO is our Middle School Ministry. Our primary goal is to point middle school students towards a closer relationship with Jesus. We design our programs with large group and small group components, fun games, challenging messages, and time for prayer and worship. Below you can read a brief description of the weekly programs and special events we offer.

Sunday Mornings, 8:00am, located in the ECHO Room

6th-8th grade students are welcomed and encouraged to attend our middle school bible study/discussion class! We will meet weekly from 8 – 8:45am (an hour before service) in the ECHO room. We will provide bagels for the students at the beginning of class, or students are welcome to bring their own snack/breakfast. When class ends, we will all go to service together!

Youth Group

Wednesday nights, 7:00-8:30 PM

ECHO Youth Group is a worship service geared to middle schoolers. The night involves playing games, hearing a sermon, and spending time gathered in small groups. The night finishes with middle school (ECHO) and high school (SEEK) joined together for prayer and high energy, band driven worship.

Special Events

Throughout the year we provide many opportunities for spiritual growth, outreach, evangelism, and fun for our middle and high school students. Events include social hangouts, a weekend retreat, a summer missions trip, local outreach, and more. Please check our ministry events calendar for Student Ministries events.

We have just come back to WEAG. We have been attending my childrens fathers Catholic Church and they wanted to come back to WEAG. When the service time change happens will the Echo time change as well. My child likes to come to service with me but maybe interested in trying Echo out.

      Hello Marki,
Welcome back to you and your kids. Echo Small Groups on Sundays will still happen one hour before services. So, that moves to 8:00am this Sunday, Oct. 6th. This allows students to still attend service with their families or continue to volunteer in serving roles throughout the church during service as many of them do.
