Amos Miles

Amos assists the Family Ministries Pastor and Youth Pastor by discipling kids and youth through connection and relationship. This is developed through leading bible studies, facilitating small groups, one-on-one mentorship, and planning activities and events for fellowship.

Miles was born and raised in Dover, Delaware. After high school, he lived in Prince George’s County, Maryland for six years before moving to Richmond, Virginia in 2014. He has been attending WEAG for three years, and first served with the gym set up and door greeting ministries. What led him to kids ministry was after he volunteered for Vacation Bible School. Miles’ experience involves two years as a pre school teacher, six years as a YMCA Youth Program Director, and four years as an education specialist for the Science Museum of Virginia. His experience has allowed him to work with children of all ages, various communities, and diverse cultures.
