Women’s Ministry

Our Women’s Ministries offer support to women of all ages through Bible studies, women’s conferences and retreats, local and foreign mission trip opportunities and affinity groups.

For details on all our studies and events, especially during COVID-19, connect with the contact person for each group to get the most up-to-date information on how the groups are meeting (in person or via zoom).

Tuesday Morning Bible Study

Tuesdays 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Upstairs Youth Area

This is a weekly study that runs September through the first part of June on Tuesdays from 9:00 am to noon. It includes worship and small group breakouts. A nursery is provided for children through age 5.  The group breaks for the summer months. Contact Janette for information at 672-7502.

Tuesday Night Bible Study

Tuesdays 7:00-8:30 PM, Rooms 209-215

This weekly study runs from September to the first part of June from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm on Tuesday nights. They break for the summer. For more information, contact Cheryl at serveavessel@verizon.net.

Sunday Night JOYBREAK

Sundays 6:00-7:00 PM, Room 207

This group provides a convenient opportunity for moms to engage in Bible study while their children are attending our Sunday night Family Life activities. It is open to women of all ages. The group does not meet during the summer. Contact Nada at nada@uro.com for more information.

LIFT – Ladies In Fellowship Together

This group focuses on young women and busy moms (though women of all ages are welcome), and it meets twice a month—on the first and third Thursdays, from 9:15am to 11:30am. The group runs from September through the end of May. Join us for Bible study and conversation in a relaxed, inviting atmosphere.  A nursery is provided for children to age 5. This intergenerational professional women’s networking group hosts events to inspire, empower and equip professional women for greater impact. It is open to any working woman in Richmond regardless of church affiliation or faith. The group meets every other month for dinner at a local restaurant and features a guest who speaks on leadership development for women in a busy, demanding business world. This is a ticketed event. God Can! Cancer Support Group

This group meets once a month at a nearby home. If you or a loved one is walking through the experience of cancer, or if you are a survivor who wants to encourage others, contact Melinda at 833-8126.

WeSHINE! Singles – Helping – Investing – Nurturing – and Encouraging Single Women’s Group

This group offers monthly outings and get togethers with “the girls.” ALL ages and stages are invited. The annual “GALentine” event offers a fun substitute for Valentines Day. The group goes to movies together and enjoys various activities that strengthen faith and foster healthy relationships. Contact Nicole at nickynicole2011@gmail.com to get involved.

IF: Gathering

March 5-6, 2021

Gather a few friends and have a Watch Party in your home or join someone else’s Watch Party. “IF God is who He says He is and we really believed it—then how would we live our lives?” The inspiring conference provides two days of fabulous, well-known national and international speakers (Beth Moore, Jennie Allen, Christine Caine, Latasha Morrison, Dr. Anita Phillips, Ruth Chou Simons and more). The goal is to “equip women with gospel-centered resources, events and community so they learn more about who God is and disciple other women right where they are.” For details, contact Sherri at sherristrickler@gmail.com.

ROAR Conference

March 12-13, 2021

Join women from all over the region in a fabulous worship and learning experience at WEAG that focuses on the needs of women in today’s crazy world. (COVID-19 permitting) Workshops and general sessions are shaped to equip women of all ages for today’s challenges in the home, workplace, neighborhood, and especially in the heart. Women Who Lead “The Collective Journey” Master Class

Women’s Mission Trips

For the past 25 years, WEAG Women’s Ministries has provided opportunities for women to travel to foreign countries and work with our missionaries in providing women’s conferences.
