Here at WEAG, we celebrate life and the responsibility we have as parents, family, friends, and church community to raise up children who know the Lord and will one day accept Him as Lord and Savior and follow Him with an obedient heart.
We believe there is a difference between baby dedication and water baptism. When we celebrate water baptisms at WEAG, we are obeying Jesus by publically proclaiming our personal faith decision, acknowledging our sin and our need for Him as Savior. A baby dedication ceremony is an opportunity for parents to publically proclaim their faith in Jesus and their commitment to pass their faith on to their children. It also provides an opportunity for family and friends to stand alongside you, committing their support, encouragement and prayer throughout your parenting journey. The word ‘dedication’ means to consecrate or set apart for the purpose of serving God. We conclude every baby dedication ceremony with a prayer of consecration, trusting that God is already at work in the life of your child.
If you would like to dedicate your baby in a service Sunday, June 30th, register through the link above! Further questions? Email firstname.lastname@example.org.
