This stretch and strengthen class will focus on body weight exercises to improve ballet technique. Within each class, we will spend time working on strengthening areas necessary for movement (such as the core, legs, glutes, and arms) as well as stretching these areas to improve flexibility and joint movement. The goal of the class is to not only become stronger, but also grow a greater understanding about the body and how we can work to make it stronger!
This class will be taught by Lizzie Woodington, a professional ballet dancer with Stavna Ballet Company. This class is geared for students of multiple levels, age 11 and up.
