Mark 5:34 (NIV) (Jesus) said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.”
“The word used for healed comes from the Greek root word sodzo, which is also translated elsewhere as ‘saved.’ Once again Jesus emphasizes faith as the pathway to healing. It is faith that ‘saves us, spirit, soul, and body.”* Have you discovered that to be true in your own life? In what ways has faith brought to you peace and freedom from suffering? How has it brought into your life a confidence that all things will work together for good in our lives as we are walking in our calling (Romans 8:28) and loving God with all our hearts?
