Exodus 17:1-7 (focus verse 2) (NIV) So they quarreled with Moses and said, “Give us water to drink.” Moses replied, “Why do you quarrel with me? Why do you put the Lord to the test?”
God reveals Himself as the Present One in times of testing. Do we question God’s presence in our lives when times get tough? Do we really think, after all the years we have served Him, that He would abandon us now in this present crisis? Have we forgotten the many ways He has supernaturally provided for us in the past? Are we so immature in our faith that we cannot look past the present trial and know we will come through it by the grace of God? As the song says, “For every mountain He’s brought me over, for every trial He’s brought me through, for this I give You praise.” Keep looking up. He is the ever Present One.
