Exodus 32:21 (NLT) “What did these people do to you to make you bring such terrible sin upon them?”
Notice the ridiculous effort to avoid responsibility for guilt. Notice the individual responsibility for individual guilt (vs. 25-35). Sin has consequences. The wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23)—always has been, always will be. This eternal truth sits heavy on humanity and especially its leadership. One day each of us will stand before God to give an account for how we lived our lives. Jesus said, “I tell you this, you must give an account on judgment day…” (Matthew 12:36). Let us learn from the mistakes of others. Find redemption and transformation through Jesus (Romans 6:23b).
