Deuteronomy 8:11 (NIV) Be careful that you do not forget the Lord your God, failing to observe His commands, His laws, and His decrees that I am giving you this day.
Moses reminds Israel to keep the commandments (the moral law in regard to themselves) and the ordinances (the civil law in regard to others) and the statutes (the ceremonial law in regard to God). Our relationships with others are crucial because God created us to be social people. He wants to teach us how to live in healthy connections with others. He wants to lead us into wholeness in every area of our lives, a little bit at a time. He brings healing and understanding when we have been wounded. He teaches us how to forgive and let go of crippling bitterness and fear. Where has He brought healing in your life?
