Fear of failure is a big stressor. We have to learn to embrace failure and get good at things we think we might fail at. Normalize it—it’s called “learning”! The greatest achievers have normalized failure. The “40% Rule” says our system starts to back off a new challenge at about 40% of our actual limit. Stop listening to the fear, because it kicks in way too soon. Push through—not to the red zone, but do get into the vulnerable zone where you could be scared; and learn from it. Get better. Do different. Get out there, and see what God can do through you!
