Hebrews 1:3(NLT) – After He had provided purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.
Hebrews “emphasizes the superiority of God’s revelation in Christ to every other revelation.” And in the day this book of the Bible was written, there were many other religions and philosophies that governed the way men thought about life. It was important for the writer of Hebrews to explain that Jesus, who was the Creator of the world, had “become our suffering Savior and was now seated at the right hand of the Father. His message is one that commands our reverent respect and grateful acceptance.” In our self-serving culture it is important for us to ponder this remarkable truth and worship Jesus by placing Him in the center of our lives (not an add-on). One day, when you get to the other side of this life, you will have a better perspective on how Jesus was active on your behalf in every stage of your life journey. For now, worship the One who sits at the right hand of the Father.
