Luke 2:39-40 (NIV)
When Joseph and Mary had done everything required by the Law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee to their own town of Nazareth. And the child grew and became strong; He was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon Him.
Finally it was time to settle down and enjoy being a family. With dangers and transitions behind them for now, Mary and Joseph began a normal family life. Jesus thrived in His parents’ love; and He grew into a well-rounded boy physically, mentally, and emotionally. God wants us to live balanced lives. Not only should we grow in faith, but also we should grow in other areas of development. Take care of your body. Never stop learning. Serve regularly. How well balanced are you?
