Hebrews 10:25 (NLT) And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of His return is drawing near.
Why do Christians need to meet together regularly? The synergy created by corporate worship has power to lift us into Heaven’s throne room where we can catch a fresh glimpse of our omnipotent God and be reenergized in our spirits. Everyday challenges have a way of draining our joy. On Sundays, when we step into the Worship Center and join our voices with a thousand other people intent on praising Jesus, we experience a tidal wave of worship that lifts us above our sorrows. As life goes on in our “post-Christian” culture, there will be more and more opportunities to use Sunday as a day for personal focus rather than a day for spiritual renewal. Don’t let one miss lead to another and church attendance become a thing of the past. Honor the Sabbath so you can live strong.
