Exodus 18:1-12 (focus verse 12) (NIV) Then Jethro, Moses’ father-in-law, brought a burnt offering and other sacrifices to God…
Notice the progression in this chapter. First, Moses shares his story with Jethro (vs. 8-9). Oh, the importance of our stories of God’s faithfulness. Second, notice Jethro’s response upon hearing Moses’ story: “Now I know that the Lord is greater than all other gods… (vs. 11). Here was a confession of faith! And it led to an act of worship (vs. 12) as Jethro brought a burnt offering and other sacrifices to God. Your faith story is very important. Have a long conversation with someone this week. Let them know how God has been active in your life.
