For this reason since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of His will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding.
The meaning of the term “divine guidance” is “the leading of God in the personal life and experience of man.” It is clear in the Bible that it IS possible to know the will of God; and we should aim to know ALL the will of God (Colossians 4:12 – …stand firm in all the will of God, mature and fully assured [NIV]; …stand perfect and complete in all the will of God [KJV]). We don’t want our children to drop out of school; why would we drop out of studying God’s Word? Gaining wisdom and spiritual understanding involves not only learning what the Bible says but also learning how faith applies to the nitty-gritty of YOUR life (in the space where you live right now). God wants us to know His will and that comes only as we establish a rhythm of life that includes more than an elementary grade level study of God’s Word. What’s the NEXT STEP you need to take in your discipleship journey? God wants to guide you. He has plans and purposes for your life.
