Luke 4:31 (NIV) Then He went down to Capernaum, a town in Galilee, and on the Sabbath began to teach the people.
I have visited the ruins of that synagogue where Jesus taught. Teaching was an important aspect of His everyday life. He unpacked the scriptures, told parables full of practical applications. He taught his disciples as they walked from one town to another and as they rode the boat across the Galilee. Those conversations were full of life applications that connected faith to life. Think about your daily conversations with people. Do you have life-giving interactions with co-workers, family members, and others as a routine, everyday kind of rhythm? Who are you mentoring in the faith? Be intentional with your conversations. Watch for opportunities to share your stories and to encourage people to look to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
