Romans 2:14-15 (The Message)
When outsiders who have never heard of God’s law follow it more or less by instinct, they confirm its truth by their obedience. They show that God’s law is not something alien, imposed on us from without, but woven into the very fabric of our creation. There is something deep within them that echoes God’s yes and no, right and wrong.
People are moral beings, with a sense of right and wrong. Conscience is inherent in every human being. “While the application of what is right and wrong varies from culture to culture, this does not change the fact that every person has a moral nature or conscience, which God gave to us to help teach us what He requires of us. The moral nature of people is further evidence of God’s existence.
