(Jesus said) “no one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him…”
“Fallen humanity is by nature without any desire for God and has no ability to come to God without divine aid.” But when we start an intentional move toward knowing Him (and stick with it), we can be sure that He intends to let Himself be found (Jer. 29:13- You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart). Have you ever felt like your spirituality has grown stale and life has become redundant and dormant? That’s the time to get intentional and persistent in pressing through into God’s vibrant Presence, no matter what it costs you (longer times in Biblical meditation, less TV and entertainment, longer walks in contemplative prayer, less words and more quiet reflection). The Father wants to draw you up into His life. Set your focus on Him.
