Isaiah 30:18 (NIV)
Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; He rises to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for Him!
Sometimes we must wait on God over a period of time concerning a particular problem or need. Some solutions don’t come with quick fixes and easy answers. God lets us wait for a while because it creates within us a posture of heart that enables Him to do a work of grace within us that could not be done any other way. We discover His mercy and the wisdom of His judgment. In the end, He gets all the glory because He does something that is impossible for man to do. Can you point to a difficult season in your life that caused you to: grow deeper roots of faith, and gain new understanding in how God works, and discover a wider scope of God’s love toward you and others? Cherish it. Blessed are all who wait for Him!
