Matthew 6:33 (NLT)
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need.
How do you deal with losses and limitations? They are a part of life; and faith is intended to connect with the realities of life. We will thrive in some roles and relationships but not in others. Along the way, our limitations confront us and we have to come to terms with the reality that some things will be unachievable. What do you do with that reality? Fight it? Deny it? Turn to the Lord. Sit before Him in surrender, and trust. ”You will not live with joy unless you learn to accept with grace the losses you experience and choose to live in peace within the limits of your life. Every time a door closes behind you, the rest of the world opens up in front of you. Stop pounding on a door that is closed. Turn around. See the largeness of life that now lies open to your soul.”* Seek first His Kingdom and live righteously so that God can work to bring about His purposes in you. Invite the Holy Spirit to help you process your losses and limitations and lead you into your divine potential.
