Nehemiah 8:5-6 – (NIV) Ezra opened the book… and all; the people lifted their hands and responded, “Amen! Amen!” Then they bowed down and worshiped the Lord with their faces to the ground.
Notice the people’s attitudes toward the Word of God as it was read to them. They were attentive (v. 3); reverent (v. 5); worshipful (v. 6); contrite (v. 9); and joyful (v. 12). When we have the same regard for God’s Word, our lives will be restored on many levels. He wants you to experience wholeness in every area of your life. Prioritize the active study of God’s Word so you can experience wholeness.
