Hebrews 10:23 (NLT) Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep His promise.
What is the reason this verse gives us for holding firmly onto our faith? Simply this: God is faithful. He can be trusted. When you walk through a segment of your life journey that feels like the “valley of the shadow” (Ps. 23) and it seems like you will never get back into the light of day, and recovery still seems so far out of reach, you need to be reminded that God is faithful. “I will not fear, for you are with me” (Ps. 23). Choose to put one step in front of the other and keep moving because you know the Lord is with you. Choose to keep your faith engaged no matter how difficult the day reads. Are you struggling today? Hold tightly. God can be trusted.
