Psalm 14:1 (NIV) The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.”
The Bible makes no attempt to prove the existence of God. Genesis 1:1 takes it for granted as a matter of course. Natural science had its beginning on each of the “six days” of creation: Cosmic light/Physics (1:3-5); clouds/Meteorology (1:6-8); Plant life/Botany (1:9-13); sun, moon, stars/Astronomy (1:14-19); animal life/Zoology (1:20-25); and man (Anthropology (1:26-31). It all came into being as a result of God’s powerful word: God said…and it was so. God’s Word carries unlimited power and authority. What God commands is fulfilled. Every step in creation conformed to God’s plan. Each day of creation had its boundaries (evening and morning). How much more we can trust Him in the seasons of our lives, with all the changes–the days and nights. “The Lord will perfect that which concerns me” (Ps 138:8).
