And this is the way to have eternal life—to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth.
Most people who believe in God recognize that He revealed Himself in special ways to select people in history (Abraham, Moses, David). But many don’t realize that God wants a relationship with them also. What does that mean? It can be a bit frightening. They wonder: what would He expect from me? What does a “relationship with God” constitute in today’s world? It all begins by leaning in—gathering information, talking with people who claim to know Him, reading the Bible, and following your heart toward Him. Studying the life of Jesus is a great place to start because He knew God best; and He prayed for us to know Him. Those of us who know Him well will tell you with enthusiasm that He is wonderful.
