James 2:26 (NLT) Just as the body is dead without breath, so also faith is dead without good works.
Here is the cry of James’ heart: showing respect for all people and living out our faith by serving and demonstrating care and compassion. Genuine faith stirs up faith-filled actions. We must love people without partiality. “Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this is not right (James 3:10). Our faith is demonstrated in word and deed. James is blunt and practical. He emphasizes growth in the spiritual life and sensitivity in social relationships. Any faith that does not deal with both personal and social issues, he contends, is a dead faith. Let’s walk out true faith.
