Acts 2:1 (MSG) When the Feast of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.
“The day of Pentecost, i.e., the day of Fifty, was the Jewish festival known as the Feast of Weeks and is described in Lev. 23:15. It was the feast of ingathering and so was peculiarly fitted to be the day of the beginning of the ingathering of all nations into the Church of God. It was ‘fully come’ (there was no prematurity). They were in one place at the same time (there was no scattering). They were in one accord (there was no disharmony).” Let us pray for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit in these days as our world faces an onslaught of evil. Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world (I John 4:4).
