DAILY DEVOTIONS – MONDAY OCTOBER 18, 2021

Ephesians 1:23 (The Message)

The church, you see, is not peripheral to the world; the world is peripheral to the church.  The church is Christ’s body, in which He speaks and acts, by which He fills everything with His presence.

DON’T MISS YOUR APPOINTMENT, your assignment.  As a member of Christ’s Body on earth, don’t back down or give up.  Disappointment runs in the opposite direction of your appointment.  It never comes from God.  “Dis”  moves us off our assignment, so learn not to be ruled by disappointment.  Don’t let imperfect people interfere with the perfect plan of God in your life.  He is not done with you yet.  If you have breath in your body, then you are still on assignment.  Be faithful to use your spiritual gifts to serve.  The church is the hope of the world, the center of all that God is doing here and now.  Stay engaged.  You have a role to play.  Don’t miss your appointment due to disappointments with people.  God is still in control and moving on earth through His church.  Lift your eyes and see it.  Don’t back down.  Don’t give up.*
