Genesis 15:6 (NIV) Abram believed the Lord, and He credited it to him as righteousness.
Genesis teaches us many lessons. Abraham is our example of faith (Gal. 3:7); and Joseph’s life is a remarkable lesson for all who suffer unfairly “and is a challenge to faithfulness in this age of undisciplined permissiveness” (Hayford, 4). God is always leading us in growth opportunities, to engage our faith in new ways as the Holy Spirit guides and directs us. Look over your life. What challenges have you overcome? How have you grown deep roots of faith through it all? Keep believing the Lord.
