Deuteronomy 7:6 (NIV) For you are a people holy to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession.
This verse goes on to show how God would honor Israel’s obedience to Him by: His blessing on their domestic life (7:12-16) and with victory over naturally impossible difficulties (7:17-26). Have you experienced surprising blessings at various points throughout your lifetime as you have lived out your faith in Jesus? You are His treasured possession. He delights in you.
