DAILY DEVOTIONS – TUESDAY MARCH 16, 2021

Luke 9:32b (TPT)   …but they (Peter, James, and John) became fully awake when they saw the glory and splendor of Jesus standing there and the two men with him.

God’s Kingdom realm exudes a glory and splendor that we will not fully comprehend on this side of the grave.  C.S. Lewis said our first word in Heaven will be, “OH!” (as in: oh, NOW I understand).  Has the American church lapsed into a “form of godliness that denies the power” (II Tim. 3:5)?  Do we need a revival that takes us up the mountain and reveals Jesus for who He truly is?  Have we become “drowsy”  like those early disciples?  The Gospel rests on Jesus:  Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).  We need a fresh revelation of His glory and splendor to seed in us a fresh calling and new empowerment in order to go down the mountain to the masses who do not yet know Him.  Let’s pray to become  “fully awake”  to Jesus and what He wants to do.
