[Romans 12:2] Be not conformed to this world; but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
What we think is what we become. Whatever we ponder upon and meditate upon shapes how we live, how we spend our money, and what we pursue. We have old carnal ways of thinking about life—they are patterns of thinking that prevent us from thriving. We get stuck in cul-de-sacs, little circles of thought, that take us nowhere—no change, no progress, no growth. This is contrary to God’s plans for us. He has a divine destiny locked into the spiritual DNA of your soul waiting for your attention and devotion. Have you sensed it? Have you longed for it? You can unlock it only as you turn your attention God-ward and seek first the Kingdom of Heaven—then all these things will be added unto you (Luke 12:31). How are you creating space in each day for study in God’s Word? Don’t let the world conform you. Be transformed by the Holy Spirit as you surrender your life to Him.
