Joshua 8:34-35 (NIV)
Afterward, Joshua read all the words of the law—the blessings and the curses—just as it is written in the Book of the Law. We must “incorporate regular Scripture reading as a part of personal and corporate worship” * Growing in godliness “through knowing and applying God’s Word is a recurring theme in Joshua.” Simply knowing it is not enough. “We must know it well enough to apply it to life’s situations. This kind of faithfulness to God’s Word will result in a successful and prosperous life.” *
