DAILY DEVOTIONS – WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 18, 2020

Philippians 4:6-9  (TPT)  Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing.  Be saturated in prayer throughout each day,  offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude.  Tell Him every detail of your life,  then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding,  will make the answers known to you through Jesus Christ.

Paul gives us the answer to overcoming worry.  Pray,  with thanksgiving,  over every concern.  He doesn’t expect us to pretend that we don’t have problems;  but He wants us to use our energy to give thanks in spite of them.  We commit to the Lord any setback and trust Him for direction.  Have you learned to capture fearful thoughts and turn them into faith-filled petitions for God’s intervention?  Our prayers should reflect confidence in God’s faithful character.  Are you willing to trade your fears for His peace?
