When we pray “Yours is the Kingdom and the power and the glory” we are not making a recitation—it is a proclamation. We are taking our place with millions of others around the world to bring God’s will to pass in homes, cities, and nations. The Holy Spirit leads the individual focuses, and Heaven dispatches angels to push back the darkness as we pray. No request is too big. “Come boldly to the throne of grace” (Heb. 4:16).
