After his parents split up, Dillon fights for acceptance and belonging.
Dillon Jones shares his struggle with the aftermath of his parents divorce. He tries to find acceptance through his friends by projecting an image he thought would impress them. After being invited to church, he starts to volunteer and eventually joined the youth program. Even though it was very uncomfortable at first Dillon used it to try to find a new image for himself. He decided to get baptized out of duty, but once he got in the water, he realized he truly believes in God.
